  • I teach parents proper tools to disciplining and guiding their children.

On of the things that rarely works with children is punishment. And it definitely will not work with teenagers. It only incites fear into them, but it does not create incentives for good behavior.

I recommend taking away priveleges such as cell phones, tv, time with friends, etc. Keep consistency between bad behavior and consequences so they learn that certain behaviors are not okay.

But please, stop spanking your children. It may have worked for you, but it will not work with them.

    • Agree 100 percent. It just turns kids against you and with all the lawyers of the world out there it's just a matter of time before one of them looks you up if you hit a kid. don't do it.
