  • get a can of spray dry shampoo to use in between washes i have a friend who uses it on her long hair and it never looks oily

    • I was going to suggest the same thing devilla. The OP is also washing her hair far too often!! As you strip the oil from your hair, you produce more to replace it so the dry shampoo should cover it up ever other day while the body stops the over-production of oils.

      Try to stop washing it as often, eg. if you were staying in at the weekend. You might not want to condition it as often too! It will stop being so greasy as you mature.

              • i know its so confusing but warm water is best cause hot exacerbates oily and dry problems in hair. also if oily hair is the issue you can sprinkle talc or cornflour thru it (not when its wet tho) and then brush it out , that absorbs oil

              • I think she means that hot water is supposed to evaporate faster with a hair drier. You're washing it too often.
