I wrote " child molester" on friends face when he was pasted out. It was with a sharpie marker... he went crazy. He hasnt talked to me in 4 months is this normal?
Um, I would have to say that is a pretty shitty thing to have written on your friends face with a sharpie while he was "pasted" out.

People are different and some can be very sensitive. He just perceived your joke to be so hurting and simply not funny.
I would apologize and tell him it was just a joke and you meant nothing.

he may have over reacter for several reasons, these reasons include, but are not limited to: schizophrenia,he was a child molester, he was molested by a child molester, multiple personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, or brain tumors

A friend of mine got something similar written on his head and woke up so late, and with such a hangover, that he didn't even have time to check the mirror before he went to work.
