that is not normal for your best friends or friends to do that. once a girl has been your girl, friends never cross that line and should never cross that line-even if you two did break up-she may not be your girl anymore, but the fact that she was your girl-just man that is wrong. those are not your friends. and she is just a dumb bitch trying to fuck you over. believe i know because i am a girl, few years older probably, and i did it to get my x bf back (but i did not sleep with anyone -i used his this guy who was my bf's enemy-all i did was kiss him once and hang out with him a few times)
and it worked. my bf went insane. he wanted to have this guy clipped, but i had to talk him out of killing this guy that i used. so now i just don't talk to that bad guy anymore now that i have my hubby back!!yay!
