Is it normal for my dog to do this

I have 6 dogs there are 3 chihuahuas 1 English bulldog 1 golden retriever and 1 great Dane they all can open our screen door except the biggest chihuahua and I have no clue y I have tried to teach him but he just refuses and goes to hide under my bed what should I do

Is It Normal?
