my grandfather was like that and the reason why my grandma stayed with him was because she had no-where else to go. if your mom doesnt care about it then that doesnt mean that its okay. cheating in a marriage just shows extreme disrespect for their partner. does your mum stay because of your living situation? does she stay maybe because she doesnt want to have to work? or does she stay to keep the family together? either way she is EXTREMELY understanding of the situation but chances are she is crying inside.
