Is it normal for my cousin's husband to stare at me?

I just recently turned 20 (not germane to the story but whatever :]) I've noticed my cousin (by marriage) has been staring at me. The other day when I'd come home from a party I was dressed nice and my friend let me borrow a low cut shirt - I don't usually wear them I feel uncomfortable wearing them, but I figured wth it's a party anyway - I hadn't really noticed he was staring at the time because my cousin and I were in a serious discussion about family problems. :/ Later that night my mom told me he was staring at my chest for quite a long time, she said it wasn't just a normal stare. She told me he just didn't look like a normal guy staring at breasts, he looked like he had perverse thoughts running through his mind. She's also told me that she has noticed him stare at me for some time now, years not months. And I feel..... Bad in a way because I was wearing such an appealing shirt and maybe I can't fully blame him... but knowing that he has been looking at me like this for years makes me feel odd and uncomfortable. And I know I should cover up whenever he is around but the thing is they almost always come over unannounced and it is hard. I mean yeah men look at women it is a natural thing but... I don't think he should look at me in such a way, Especially when his wife, MY cousin is sitting Right next to him! And the thing I really DON'T get is WHY he looks at me that way! I mean my cousin is pretty and thin and she has a pretty OK body she kind of looks like Sarah Jessica Parker. I mean I have a nice hourglass figure but I AM chunky, my mom says I kind of look like Selma Hayek but she is my mom and all mom's say their daughter's are beautiful. Anyway,it makes me wonder... does he stare at my other cousin's in such a way?! Because if he does That is Completely and utterly wrong and makes me rethink things just how perverse is he? I mean if he does look at my other cousin's in that manner he is just a pervert and sick. Because yeah guys looking at girls is normal... But is it normal for him to stare at girls 10 years younger than he is and who ARE his cousins, maybe not by blood but so what!

    To heard your mom say it's inapproprite to stare at 20 years old daughter's chest for so long... sound disgusted and disrespectful, even to me. Hey, he's your cousin's husband, so why not break the rule and talk right straight to your cousin about his behavior? The chance is, he's unfaithful and she don't deserve that.

      Staring (not just an appreciative glance) at women and their bodies is just RUDE. It has nothing to do with you.

      The longer the stare the RUDER. Until it is almost - as the expression goes - raping with eyes.

      It makes women feel very uncomfortable and objectified, and some creepy guys actually like that. Even your Mom has noticed it. He definitely falls in the creepy guy category.

      Time to tell your Cousin. And next time the creep does this, especially when others are around, say in a very strong and firm voice: "STOP STARING AT MY BREASTS!"

    I don't think you can have a cousin by marriage. It just doesn't work that way. A sister in law, a mother in law, etc. But my wife's cousins are not my cousins by marriage, they are just some twats who happen to be related to my wife. Any ways, i was way to lazy to read your story, and it seemed to be very boring anyways, but you should let your mother know, that when a man stares at woman's chest, no matter how nice of a guy he is, he is having perverse thoughts.

    She told me he just didn't look like a normal guy staring at breasts, he looked like he had perverse thoughts running through his mind.

    What does your mother think men normally think about when staring at breasts? Snap on tools, ice fishing, what is on sale at the grocery this week? No. They are thinking about banging you. And thinking of all the wonderful and horrible things they can do to your tits. But it's perfectly norman, and that is human sexuality for you. Still, next time he stares at your chest for a long time, just say something like "hey Tod, my eyes are up here you douche." Make sure everyone hears you so that Tod (or what ever this dudes name is) is shown for the pig he is. For although it is incredibly normal for a healthy male (even one a whopping 10 years older than you) to want to stare at a girls chest, it is really not polite to do so.

    Your 20 , his only what 30's - pretty normal if you ask me . Whether it's a creepy or not , hard to tell. Some people get pretty intense.
    Mums can also get pretty jealous of this stuff to so there might be an angle , be your own judge of him.
    Cousins/not blood or whatever , hey I grew up with four of the hottest cousin you'll ever see and one in particular gave me hell - really nice hell !
    Anyway , one things for sure , he likes the look of ya . If it bothers ya , who cares if they just turn up , go and change or slip somem over anyway , he'll put that together and might back off a bit.

    Guys like to look at boobs. That's totally normal. If you indeed have a Hayek-like chest, and were wearing a low-cut shirt, of course he's going to stare. So would any other guy in the room. He just happens to be bad at hiding it.

    If anything about this is weird it's that your mom apparently believes she has the power to read minds.
