If you were MARRIED, I could see all this openness as appropriate but he's just your boyfriend. I'm not saying you both should have harmful secrets from each other but you should still have your own lives and you should disclose whatever you feel is necessary WHEN it's necessary. EVERYTHING... ALL THE TIME... is not necessary.
I completely understand where you're coming from. I have secrets too, and I'm sure he does. Except that they're probably important ones that SHOULD be kept secret and to himself, that I completely understand, but things on facebook and his phone, honestly I think it's not too big of a deal. I asked about it, because NO guy I have ever known has done this and I'm sort of shocked.
I would be shocked too. I've never heard of anyone being that way. If a girlfriend were that "open" with me, it would bother me a lot because it's not what you CAN see that you need to be concerned about, if at all. This imitation impression that there are no boundaries regarding privacy could just be a facade to cover something up. But who knows? That's a rather cynical approach. Realistic too, perhaps. But who knows? I'm not in the relationship. I just see what I see.
