What do you mean he doesn't want to be in a relationship? He is! He is not some random stranger.
I agree with combatgal but take it a step further, tell him how you feel AND what you want. Think about what you want in this relationship beforehand. What would be deal breakers? What's minimally acceptable? What's optimal?
You say you have self respect. OK then define & articulate the standards by which you would feel respected.
I agree with most though who can't see a lot of self-respect on your part when you are willing to continue screwing a guy who then denies a "relationship" and claims he's too busy to acknowledge it. He's treating you like a slut.
