It sounds like he's jelouse. It's possible he loves you and he's in a jelouse rage, but you don't have to be in love with someone to be jelouse. For example, if you have a friend you hang out with all the time, then suddenly they have a boyfriend and now they don't hang out with you nearly as much. The resentment usually goes towwards your friends boyfriend. I might also suggest this though, there may be reasoning behind his anger. Maybe this boyfriend of yours isn't so nice after all, and he's doing stuff behind your back that your friend knows about but won't tell you cause he doesn't want to hurt your feelings? It's possible. Either way, remember that he is your friend! You need to talk to him and see what's going on! You sound close and it would be a shame to lose a good friend like that over a guy.
