If your "friend" is getting physical with BOTH of you because of his hatred.... then it's time to break that friendship off.
Yes you will hurt his feelings but if he's at the point where he's posing a physical threat then he's out of control as it is.
babying someone who's acting out like that will only encourage more. He needs to understand that he can't be around you if he can't control himself
