Is it normal for men to hate their hair to be really short?

I really don't think I look good with short hair. It just shows off my weird shapped head and....IDK..I just like it longer because I can play with it and etc. My mom makes me get a haircut whenever it gets too long so I can be more presentable to hiring managers when I go to job interviews. I don't see what's wrong with having long hair. Apparently, it's a huge turn off. It's not like I let my hair grow super long like down to the crack of my ass or whatever. Mostly, I prefer it finger length.

    Finger length is ok, depends on how you style it though I guess. If its long enough to tie up then I'd get it cut though.

    I know guys with this issue...and finger length hair should be fine for most jobs as long as its neat.
