This is the time when women are suppose to radiate the most.
It is a brief time in the woman's life that may finally allow her to be the center of attention in groups. Generally its something that most women yearn for. Although an awkward stage physically and emotionally (hint hint to OPs frustration) make the most of the attention.
Men DO feel the pain (in some respect). It is not uncommon for a soon to be father to physically feel the pain and suffering during the pregnancy and whilst watching the child birth. Ok not exactly the same, but the closest it can get, I've seen it and still cringe at the thought.
Allow others to continue their attention on you, after you give birth you'll likely be stuck at home for at least 3 months. Going out and seeing other adults and talking about anything at all, will be a pure luxury that you try to work and organize to get to.
Hi just going for a quick trip down the shops hun.
Ok, I'll just watch The Simpsons until you're ready then. I'm thinking half hour before you are even close to getting out that door.
Is it normal for men to give advice on child birth?
