Wear what you want, that's the beauty of our times! I actually ditched most of my jeans (keeping a few for my labs) and decided to wear only dresses. Most people really love my outfit choices because they tend to be unique to me. I also have a friend who only wears Hawaiian shirts and people love it. If you're worried about scorn, I wouldn't be. People admire those that do their own thing.
