Is it normal for me to turn off every switch i see?

I have Asperger’s syndrome, SPD and OCD. Whenever I see a switch with nothing plugged in it, I have to turn it off. The longest I have waited is 5 minutes and I couldn’t wait any longer so I got up in the middle of class to turn it off. My teachers do know about everything but it gets really embarrassing. Some boy was trying to wind me up by keep turning them on which made me have a panic attack. People then ask why I do these things etc and I can’t deal with it. If people could please tell me if my switch obsession is normal or not it would be really thanked. I’m getting a psychologist soon aswell!

The level of anxiety that goes with it would indicate OCD, so it's "normal" within that scope, but no one here can give you a diagnosis. I hope the psychologist helps.

Yeah. It's normal. OCD comes in all forms. Good luck with the psychologist.
