    this is uncontroversial. trans people are mentally ill, by defintion, since tey suffer from gender dysphoria.

    the definition of mental illness is a condition of behaviour that causes distress and affects how they function. gender dysphoria kind of fits this.

      Not all trans people suffer from gender dysphoria. Just saying.

      I'm trans and I happen to suffer with it, but a trans friend of mine doesn't have it
