Is it normal for me to think alot of people have to die.

I spend quite some time inside my mind, thinking about almost anything. Ive come to a horrific conclusion: I think there are way too many weak people in this world. People who have weak genes, who are diseased. That think we are under control of a 'God' or 'Gods' I feel that they dont have the right to live. I feel that we, as humans, are going against nature's main process: Survival of the Fittest. I have thought of exterminating hundreds of people just in a single train-ride. What do you think? Am I growing bitter, or what?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Survival of the fittest? Straight out of Darwin, full credit to the theory. Unfortunately it doesn't play in complex human societies. Consciousness you see. We have the capacity to empathize and have an inherent need to protect the weak and vulnerable. Under present circumstances. Were there to be say, a new world order, and if really would be survival of the fittest. I don't think you would want it. I used to move in criminal circles and now work the other side of the street, so to speak. Believe me there are some nasty folks locked up behind those prison walls and in secure hospitals. They did shit WITH law and order that would make you vomit up your own stomach. Truth is in a survival of the fittest situation; sophisticated 21st century, pampered, self indulgent mankind is not worth a wank. You would be eaten alive by a pack of wild dogs or taken prisoner by some mad max style biker gang. All the while wondering where the police are to protect you. Good luck.

  • Actually it's human nature to sympathise and want to help the weakest and most vulnerable in our society.

It's not 'going against nature' at all - it's the total opposite.

  • I personally do not believe in any deities, but people who do are not weak and have every right to live. Can some of them piss me off at times? Well sure, but so what? Belief in things from gods to ghosts to conspiracies is a part of our species, and you would do well to accept that biological fact. We evolved pattern recognition. Sometimes it's connected, sometimes it's not, but setting the default to assume the worst (especially in an instant situation of life or death) is a survival mechanism and was obviously needed to keep us alive and reproducing this long.

You don't understand survival of the fittest either. This has more to do with across different species and adaptations, and so on; via natural selection. Social Darwinism, which is what you are invoking, is an "ethical" theory, not a scientific one.

  • Armageddon will happen eventually. What's the rush?

  • It's normal. When I was eleven I thought the same thing. I still do. People are weak, a waste of time and resources. They are never needed.

  • I would say that there's a huge difference between stopping people from reproducing and actively murdering people. Also, pretty soon you're gonna see what genes are goin into your baby anyways, which'll render eugenics obsolete. If you can just pick the best genes at that stage, there'd be no point for the selective breeding (of anything, humans included). Just pick the best stuff that you want or whatever.
