Is it normal for me to put clear nail polish on my lips?

Several years ago, I was messing with some clear nail polish and began putting it on my lips (mouth) for some reason. At first it kind of stung but afterwards when I peeled it off, my lips were surprisingly and extremely soft. Since then, every once in a while when I feel like my lips aren't soft enough, I'll repeat this process. Is it normal?

    That's probably killing the skin on your lips. Doesn't it taste horrible when you breathe I the air?

    I don't know if this is normal or not. By "normal," I mean I'm not sure if many people do it. I don't know of anybody who does. And I agree with everyone else, it's probably not good for your skin. Use chapstick, it makes your lips soft too, and it's better for the skin.

    Use lip balm to make your lips soft. If your lips are dry you are not drinking enough water and ripping off the top layer is not a good idea.

    I doubt that this is good for you. The chemicals probably strip off the harder, outermost layer of your skin which could make you susceptible to infections.

      You post it on this means you want people's opinion. Of course it's not bloody normal? Did you think it was? People are just concerned for you and are giving you suggestions and advice, like using a chapstick instead of peeling off your skin with nail polish. No need to be a bitch.
