Is it normal for me to love the girl who is my best friend?

I love my best friend with all my heart and she is the sweetest girl ever.I always do the most I can to keep her happy and I feel that there is a possible relationship.I'd give the world for her and I've already been in afew fights to defend her. But how do I know if Iam doing the right thing and is this normal?

    aw ur sooo sweet! yes its perfectly normal. i fell in love with my best guy friend and now we've been in a relationship for almost 2 years! keep doing what ur doing and dont give up!

    Im the same exact way with my girl bestfriend. Dont go out with her though because if you break up you will loose her.

    My bestfriend since we were in 8th grade told me he has been in love with me ever since we met (over 15years ago). I will not let it ruin our friendship but if we were to get together and it didn't work I'm sure it would ruin things. But you meet know if you don't tell her

    Again, as i said to another IIN, it IS normal for a someone to fall in love with their best friend. Keep doing what you're doing, and when you're ready and you think she is, tell her how you feel about her
