In the end you have to do what's right for you. Can you imagine being an 80 year old woman and giving up on the love of your life for friends you haven't talked to in 50 years? It's silly.

Maybe. Maybe not. There's risk in everything so don't stop yourself from trying just because it might fail. By that same logic I shouldn't get in my car and drive anywhere because I might fail and get in a car crash.
