I think it's kinda normal. I'm sure that you aren't that ugly, and if you wear nice clothes, then that bumps you up like 2 points on a 1-10 scale! :) I don't feel like I'm the UGLIEST girl in the world; I think I'm really pretty actually (not to sound conceited) but I do have those days when I feel ugly. It's ok. I have a feeling that you're really sexy. ;)
