I don't really know enough about either of you to judge honestly, but unless she is the unholy offspring of death and satan and hitler put together, I'm sure this stage in your relationship will pass and when you are both adults you will be as close as ever. Also remember, she is the lady that held you the moment you were born, I'm sure she loves you, so try and love her back.
