As far as I can remember I've been a loner. I have great friends and memories but a large amount were made by myself. I can be a great friend but solo time is good for me in the friend balance.
Yes, I'm also a loner and i don't like trusting or depend of others. I feel i can't trust people to do what needs to me done when the time comes. Feel like every one around me is weak and dumb, undisciplined and stupid. So i have a very hard time finding someone like me, and then i don't make friends. Since always i like to spend time with myself, so this is not a issue
I am not sure about the trust issues part, due to the lack of further information, but it sounds to me that you are probably an introvert. An introvert loves having a few close friends, and is drained by social interaction.
