Outside of prisons it is not uncommon for adults to have a point in their lives where they go a year or two or more without sex. For most people masturbating is enough. Resorting to raping people of the same sex is not normal.
Where did I say "all", or are you the one assuming what I meant? Also, I didn't say anything about them being gay or straight, so I don't know why you added that last part.
Your post stated that men in prison turn to gay sex because that's all there is and then said that raping isn't normal, implying that's the nature of gay prison sex. I'm merely pointing out that's not always the case
No, I didn't say that. Please show me where I said men in prison turn to gay sex because that is all there is. What I said was, if people can manage to survive out of prison without sex, they can manage to survive inside prison without it as well.
Everything else is just you making assumptions about what I believe which is ironic considering you were accusing me making assumptions when it is actually you doing so.

Why are you assuming all male sex in prison is rape? OP didn't mention rape, only gay sex, not the same thing.
My understanding is that it's the straights who rape smaller/younger/weaker/more gay inmates
