Yes, he may well be living out a fantasy that isn't about violating you, and how he made you feel may have been unintentional. But he blatantly ignored the likely probability that you would feel this way, in favor of his own stupid fantasy. Don't put up with whatever excuses and defenses he or his family might throw at you, they're insulting.
"Press charges"? Yeah, good luck with that: no witnesses and her word (which I believe) against his: I do not believe any cops anywhere in the world would get involved in this for a second.
