I'm 6'2", and anyone under maybe 5'5" is outside my comfort zone. But every guy has different tastes. The kind of guy who would criticize something about your appearance, though, is just a jerk. Not worth thinking about.
That said, don't wear high heels. Tall is fine, but no guy wants to look like Tom Cruise under Katie Holmes's chin.
