    The girl's mental health is basically utter shit.
    The guy cheats because he can't control himself.
    He only says I love you to keep the girl on the side.
    And the girl is probably blaming herself when he cheats.
    It's the mentality of "I'm not good enough so he cheated on me." Only way for her to get out of that is to get attached to some other guy.

      But she won't let him go though. Neither would he let her go because he knows she allows cheating and no other woman he's been with allows it. She's basically his back up plan.

        It's because they're co-dependent. She won't let him go because she doesn't know if she'll find someone else. And yes, she's kept on the side for precisely that reason.

          She is young and pretty. She can get any guy she wants. Who knows maybe she is cheating which is why she don't care about his cheating anymore or has self-esteem issues and blames herself for the cheating.
