Is it normal for guys to care about their first time?

Honestly, I'm just waiting for the right girl. I want my first time to be with someone I love.

Not all the blame goes on the guys that are quick to lose it. Women also want to lose it as well and in high school I think we're all very weak willed.

I thought about wearing an abstinent ring for awhile because I liked the idea of seeing myself as pure, like someone who was waiting for love. I'm not religious but true love can wait. I gave up that idea cause I knew my peers would laugh at me. But I still have a ring just not a physical one. Also, I don't think I'm ready for sex, seeing as how I have no experience with girls. However, I believe that my time will come someday, so I shouldn't be rushing into things that I'll regret.
