    I don't think he was turned off. I think he was turned on and couldn't deal with it because religion screwed up his head.

      He wasn't really all that religious. The abstinence thing was more of a personal choice.

        Fair enough. But my main point was that I think He was turned on, not off, but felt conflicted and overwhelmed by it.
