    It's not normal thing that people do, but I don't see anything wrong with having sex with so long as you're both into it. That said, I would try easing up to asking her, maybe see if she'd be willing to date you first before jumping straight to sex.

      The reason why incest is wrong is because of the danger of birth defects caused by inbreeding (i.e. sex with relatives). Unless your step sibling happens to be related to you by blood, there is not a chance of that happening.

      Don't get me wrong. This story kinda grosses me out too, but I do not see any ethical reason why this is wrong. Saying it's wrong because it "is still family" is quite flawed, because following your logic you could say that it's wrong to have sex with in-laws or even your husband/wife simply because he/she is family, and you could also say falling in love with your close childhood friend is wrong because they are often as close as brother and sister.

    It is not normal but it happens often. My ex had sex with her dad from the time she was 13 until she was 21. She never turned down any of his requests.

        I know it. She claimed that she didn't want to do it with him, but she had several chances to turn him in but never did.     I really do not see the problem with relationships with STEP siblings. It's not incest anymore than a relationship with childhood friends is. You're not biologically related.

    If this was your biological sibling, then there would be a problem.

    A step sister isn't really family, unless you grew up together since you were young. In that case it's messed up.
    But if you're (let's say 18) and you "gained" a step sister in the last couple of years, you can do it.

    Still kinda messed up tho. Plenty of other women you can bang...
