I've been on several meds and while some work, some do not. Most do not cure anything but just provide a relief of symptoms for the day. I take Provigil too and personally it works great for me, but it took me several prescriptions to get one that works for me. Narcolepsy and Insomnia sounds like an unusual mix. How does that work? Can you not sleep when you want yet fall asleep randomly? I still have symptoms with meds but the ones I'm on now also help signifantly. It took awhile to get there though.
