Is it normal for brits to hate eachother?

Not only do the British seem to hate EVERY other country in the world (Germany and France seem the favourites) but we hate eachother?! "Scouser twat", "Cockney prick" "Geordie knob", we just hate everyone! In all fairness I think everybody hates us too.
Personally I don't hate anyone, I just see it all as friendly banter. The amount of people who take the mick out of my monotonal Brummie accent is ridiculous but I have to laugh (a great British trait- we can laugh at ourselves) but I fear other people don't take it as light hearted banter and they mean every word they say.
Do we really have a grudge against the whole world? Are the French really all tossers? Are the Germans all Nazi's? Are Americans all fat bastards? Are the Welsh all sheep shaggers? Are all of the Scottish violent nutters? Are all of the Irish alcoholics? Do all of the English have bad teeth? Or do we all like to have a good ol' moan to make the time of day tick a little faster?

    I am half English and don't have bad teeth, and half welsh and have had no romantic encounters with sheep. But yes I agree we are a nation of pisstakers, but I can take as well as give, as long as it is in jest and good humour. I like the old sitcom love thy neighbour. A black guy and White guy take the piss out of each other, in a good humour way. It's gone too far now, all this political correctness.

    well, i'm a goth. this means i hate chavs, sunshine and apparently everything nice in the world and anyone who isn't a goth... erm... no :P
    I'm an open-minded brit who only actually hates idiots and small-minded people... most of the ones i meet personally are just brits XD
    i'm highly educated and lowly tollerated... i think most brits just want to complain about anything to outlett their not being happy with something... can't we all just choose the government to be angry at? we can change them if we all shout loud enought at once... even if some accents these days may make it hard to tell :P
