  • If God could have always existed, why not the universe? And just to clarify, I don't claim to know how the universe came to be, no-one knows. But to assume 'God did it' whenever we don't know something is no more of an answer.

    • Right it takes faith to believe either option.
      I know complex humans did not 'evolve' from single celled organisms though. It takes more faith to believe that nonsense.

      • Cells divide to make multicellular organisms, it's pretty straightforward.

        • Yeah, humans are such simple beings. Those cells had no human dna to begin with. Might work with amoebas but will never change into complex human beings. But most people don't ever want to be accountable for their actions or feel that they will give an account for their lives. So it's convenient to deny the existence of God even though they suspect there is a higher power. We can agree to disagree.
