Is it normal for armpit hair to stop growing?

I'm a female, but definitely too young for menopause. I've always had fast-growing hair, but it rarely grows back on my armpits anymore. No other symptoms and no hair loss anywhere else.

secondary hair is hormonal , you like it or not will soon be sterile . just my guess really . in fact you can't make hair. some people can't make blood. nowhere near menopause ? thats funny.

Maybe it's a hormonal issue? I've had some laser on my armpits and so it's finer and more sparse than a lot of other women. I also prefer using an epilator or waxing instead of shaving. Honestly, I'd rather have hairy armpits than shave!
