Is it normal for another guy to take your girlfriend out to eat?

Hi all,
I have a girlfriend and we have been together for 3 years. I also have a friend and he isn't so close to me now and my girlfriend too. But my girlfriend sometimes say once a fortnight goes out to eat dessert with him. He asks her out to eat. Now I don't know the detail but she tells me about it so shes not hiding it. From your opinion, is it normal for a guy to just ask a girl to go eat when he knows she's in a relationship? I mean for myself I would never ask a girl to go eat together with no one else. Why? Because say even if didn't have a girlfriend, it is not right to be going out to eat ALONE with another friends girlfriend. What do you guys think or am I over-reacting?

    It would be okay if he's gay. If he's not then i don't think it's right. It looks like they're on a date, even though she's not interested he probably is and there are boundaries. It's weird that a straight or bi guy goes to eat with another guy's girlfriend.

    Heck nah it ain't. If it is normal for her, then something's totally wrong... If my fiance would go out to eat with another guy, I'd have a serious talk with her. Cause a man biologically cannot simply want to be friends with a girl
