I do the same thing. And whenever I try to act normal towards them I look more retarded. I just get so nervous. Sometimes I'll be going over what to say in my mind, but then mess that up to. When the moment comes, if I see them, I either don't say anything at all, or I say something that just sounds plain stupid. Then I have those other moments where I come across kinda rude. Its embarrassing! Oh yeah, my voice changes sometimes too! Suddenly my already to begin with soft voice, becomes a lot more childlike and quiet.
I guess I'll tell you what I have a feeling I probably should do; don't think too much. Relax. (I wish I could take my own advice. :p) Good luck!
