Well most of British people aren't fit, that's for sure. The US and specifically England are similar in how many people are obese. Out of both places, I'd say there's no difference and accents don't seem to do anything for me. I guess it's normal to like another nationality though but I don't know what you mean by fake tans/piercings as I've been in a lot of places within the US and haven't witnessed much of that at all. I actually see more tattoos when I go to Europe. Also, New York City/the surrounding areas (within an hour of the city) is known for being fashion-forward and fake tans aren't "in" there. So why not go there? You'll also encounter foreigners every second of the day.
