Is it normal for an adult to share a bed with their mom?

Well, at least it's technically separate beds if they're bunks. I mean that was kinda clickbait-y

I wouldn't be comfortable sharing a bedroom with my Mom ALL the time, I like my space. I can do it on holidays but not at home.

eh don't think it is normal but I read part of a weird novel my sister had laying around for book club and the mother made her autistic teenage daughter sleep in the same bed with her.Because she was obsessed with her getting kidnapped and the girl liked to run away a lot.They were on a vacation in Italy with the husband's ex girlfriend.The girl was not allowed to pick out her favorite iceream flavor or speak without her mom's approval and had to hold her mom's hand.

At least they are not sleeping together sounds like they are on hard times because that normally wouldn't happen

If you're living in a one-bedroom apartment there's not much choice - you might just have to share the same room. They're not sharing the same bed.
Plenty of families in other countries share a 'family' bed and lead perfectly safe, happy, health lives.

Well, it's a one bedroom apartment so it makes some sense. At least they are not in the same bed. If it was me, one of us would sleep on the couch just because I am easily disturbed but some people don't approve of sleeping in the common areas. Sounds like no big deal to me.
