Yes it's normal..i found many problem but i was a little younger than you..and never think you have no chance with a girl..i have a girlfriend that i said on day that its impossible to be with her..and if you're finding problem to ask that question try to change it..try for example "do you like to be with me alone?" Or "do you mind to have romantic moment together?" ..chat will be easier than face to face
