Is it normal for a woman to have menopause in her 30s?

A while ago, my wife told me that she hasn't gotten her period in months, and before that, she could not seem to get pregnant. We later found out that she has menopause, and she is only 35. Is it normal for it to be this early?

It's not "normal", but it does happen. I hope she's able to get the supportive treatment she needs.

This. Definitely not unheard of at all.

So my best friend was actually diagnosed with late term menopause at 30. Uterus’s are super finicky.

Not the norm, but common enough most of us older than lets say 35, probably knows someone this has happened to.

My boyfriend's mother went through menopause back when she was 35. It's not a common thing to happen to women, but it happens.
