I think its more common for a man who is in his late twenties and early thirties to act immature. However, once in a while you do come across a woman at that age acting immature.
I feel like both men, and women act immature in different ways, though. Women, definitely when it comes to gossip. Men can approach things in a way a teenager would. Like bad dating habits, or just the way they might approach a woman. Kinda like they're 18. Sometimes they flirt in a very immature way, etc.
I always thought that a lot of women from my job who are about 28, or like 30 ish, tend to be quite immature when they gossip about the other coworkers, and talk about how so and so thinks she's the shit or whatever. I mean, when they do things like that, it makes me think that they should go back to high school, because they really do sound like teenie boppers.
