Is it normal for a sudden dislike

I had liked this same girl for about 5 to 6 years, and she was the absolute best. It was always a clean and pure like, never the urge to have sex or anything. I always knew she outclassed me by so much. We weren't even on the same planet. I had scored a few classes with her, and actually got the luckiest breaks of even getting put into the same group with her a few times. When her and I were put in a class with me sitting at the same table as her, I was shocked. We talked a bit, and the next year, she didn't even know I went to the same school as she did. After years of majorly lucky breaks, she changed some, and cut her grade "A" hair to shoulder length, and I wanted nothing to do with her. Any feelings I had for her just went away. Is it normal?
