Tbh I'm pretty much of the view that "gay" is anyone who says they are, and nobody who says they aren't.
If you've been happily married to a woman for so many years and you are comfortable in your sexual attraction to females, you have every right to claim being straight.
Yeah sure you experimented a little bit back in college. If you left it at that and have no desire to pursue it again, then what's the worry? It is what it is.
Also lots of gay men have had sex with women at some point, but we don't have this conversation about "is it normal I fucked her back then?" and we're still gay. (not me personally, I've never been with a woman, but lots of gays have).
