Is it normal for a straight guy to have a cat for a pet?

I didn't know cats meant you were gay. I thought banging other dudes meant you were gay.

Cats are great pets. If you have a busy life cats are perfect pets. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I love both. Dogs are more work though. But very rewarding.

well i actually just got my first kitten a week ago and they are so different from dogs. i think cats are for lazy people who only have to feed and pick up crap, not bothering with discipline or any other training. it is a bit of fun trying to get the kitten to get along with my two dogs though. all in good time.

Do not even think about it. If you prefer cats over dogs that does not make you a Fag. My brother is Straight and he has three Siamese cats as pets. So that does not make you gay, just the fact that you are a cat lover.

I've always had dogs but I live on my own now and it wouldn't be fair to have a dog. If my tenancy agreement allowed it, I'd love to have a cat.

Pointless story really. I prefer cats too though mainly because they are independant animals and are very prideful animals.

Why wouldn't it be normal? Some very famous men owned cats and some of them, like Ernest Hemingway, were ultra-macho. Raymond Chandler, Sir Winston Churchill, Charles Dickens, Albert Einstein, Gen. Robert E. Lee, John Lennon, Charles Lindberg, Mark Twain, H.G. Wells, etc. all owned cats. Owning a cat doesn't make you a fag any more than owning a dog makes you straight!
