Is it normal for a phone to suddenly stop working for no reason ?

Ok I have a toss away phone and it is a toach screen it is a driod but it is a prepaid. It has had alot of issues but I do not feel like getting a new one as they all seem to brake after 2 years . My original model lasted up to 7 but I got rid of it becuase they kept billing all these hidden charges . the phones monthly payement is extremly cheap considering its a cell. However the thing keeps glitching .Its gotten to the piont all the apps are nolonger working does anyone know how to fix it I know Adriods are apperently known for thier malfuctions .

      That is why I posted it hoping someone here would be a phone nerd as there is some floating around the place . I use to know a few but I do not live near them anymore and we lost contact .

        Then go to a tech support forum, or visit a tech repair shop.

        That's like coming here to ask about genital warts in the hopes that there might be a doctor here. Just look it up on the proper website or better yet, VISIT A PROFESSIONAL. This isn't the only website in the world.

          I can not ask the proffesioniol they charge money to ask for advice or just offer you a new phone so I wanted a cheaper option . Also the websites need all these speciel codes and the model and I do not know any of that .

    Start the mourning for your old phone and get a new one. If touch phones dont last get something else that will suit your needs and last.

    You should be asking a phone doctor, but it's really not going to make a difference if you have a shitty phone.

    You really have to start embracing the fact that such technology has want I call a half-life. They break down after a certain marker so that you'll buy a new one.

      I have noticed that . Also technology is getting worse the new upgrades and models are breaking faster and faster . My first model was the best phone ever invented in my opinion it never broke down, I dropped it a million times it still worked, The set up was simple to use, it never glitched, it was black and a flip phone it took decent pictures but they discontinued that model . It was a Katana I loved that phone it was superb and it lasted me 7 years . I had to switch becuase the battery stopped working and would not charge anymore I loved that phone but they no longer make them and these toach screen and newer models are complete krap ! It really bugs me that these new supposed advanced models are suppose to be better when they have so many more problems . As a whole I have to say phones suck and cell phones suck more. In my opiinion flip phones are the best model of phones .

    1. If it's a pre-paid minute phone, you may have run out of minutes
    2. You were in a area that ruined your signal
    3. I don't work with phones, so your best bet would be to go to the store where you bought it and ask for their Technical Support.

      Thankyou for giving a decent awnser . Also to everyone I fixed it I had to much things saved on my phone I deleted half the data in the apps that were not working by removing my Memory card that fixed the issue and thankyou to any one who gave a decent awnser .

    Google the make and model and the fault.
    There are many known errors with phones that CAN be fixed simply.

    It appears your problem started 'Layer 8' and has progressed from there to Layer 7 as well.
    'RTFM' is the best solution, however it does not work in the case of a 'One Delta Ten Tango' error which must be resolved by upgrading the 'wetware'.

    Wikipedia can explain the technical terms above, Google them if you have to.
