Corporal punishment is appropriate at any age, and even though I'm in my 30s, I still get my mouth washed out wit soap and my bare bottom strapped a few times a year by my mom. However, as an adult, they only occur because I tell him in a straightforward way that I feel guilty about certain things and I know I deserve to be punished. Although this might seem unconventional, I think it's still appropriate. However, deliberately targeting the testicles or sexual organs as appropriate for punishment is just wrong. It seems so outrageous that I doubt the authenticity of it, I seriously hope that nobody is doing this deliberately.
