Is it normal for a man to paint his toenails?
My husband all of a sudden started painting his toenails. I'm a little weirded out. I've asked him to keep socks on around the house cause its just weird, right?

I agree with the above comment. It's socially acceptable and even encouraged for women to be into masculine things, but if a man even thinks about doing something feminine, people automatically assume he's gay and shun him. If he wants to paint his toenails, let him. I don't see what the big deal is.
I'm a 45 year old white male businessman; I go with my wife of 25 years and get pedicures and painted. I like black, gun metal, and or metallic gray. I have 4 children 3 which are in college and go in barefoot a lot, no issues. I get a lot of compliments. I like women and straight as a 2x4. If you have an issue with it so what; it's my body. Peace!!
This is something I just did for the first time and that led me to look online to see if other guys do this, which led me here. I'm as hetero as they come, but I have pretty feet and have been complimented on their appearance by many women.
My wife is out of town so I thought it would be a good time to try painting my nails. And not just any old color -they're cotton candy pink! I don't mind saying my feet look fantastic and could pass for pretty women's feet. I've thoroughly enjoyed this week of having pretty feet (I'm a guy, not much about us is really "pretty") but I'm afraid my wife would feel like the person who started this thread, so tonight the polish comes off. I'm a little sad.
While maybe not socially accepted yet, I feel this is normal, and I'm normal, so I vote yes.
my name is rich and i have been painting my toes for along
time.I just like the way it looks, better than nothing i
think. Also it feels good painting them for some reason! Some
men wear ear rings and some have pony tails so is painting
toes any different that those things.
Maybe not 'normal' yet but it is becoming more popular with men to wear their toenails polished. Typically darker colors like blue, green, gray, black and purple.
Hey, styles change all the time. This one is just one if the more recent.
My wife introduced me to this close to five years ago and we both liked it. Some guys are going to be too self-conscious or not secure in their masculinity to try this though. This is quite the opposite of what you might expect, it's not the gay guys who do this either.
