I can't understand why anyone would think that life insurance on a wife, especially in a family with children, is weird or creepy?
After the death of EITHER spouse, in today's modern two income family, where the hell would you expect the money to come from to continue living as the family was before that death? Where's the money going to come from if the household income is halved, for the mortgage, the car payments, child care expenses or anything else that required a two income family budget?
I hear what you're saying, but I grew up in a time and place where men were the primary breadwinner and the woman's outside income was a minor contribution, if any.
So, out of curiosity I'm asking others if it's normal nowadays for there to be life insurance on the wife, or is this something that should be a red flag because wife killers do this a lot?
I'm not making any judgements or accusations here, just asking a question so I can be better informed.
IIN for a man to have life insurance on his wife?
