Is it normal to have a better sex drive now in my 40's than when I was younger? I find myself more and more sexually aroused than ever before . Much more than my teens, 20's and 30's. I've even been able to have haveca orgasm, stay hard and be able to cum again . I'm not taking any pills . I just always thought once guys hit their mid 40's they lose their drive a bit

    Perfectly normal, especially if you've been sexually active during your whole life.

    One factor that normally causes desensitization (and limpness) by the age of 40 is if you're circumcised. But most of the world doesn't suffer from that. My grandfather was still siring children when he was 70.

    I think it's still normal to have a high sex drive in your 40s, it doesn't decline that quickly or young. Although having a higher sex drive than in your 20s is a bit unusual, although certainly not a bad thing

      I don't believe hormones have as much to do with sexuality as we get older: I'm female and 70 and very sexually active, right now with a bloke not much younger. No prescription drugs are involved
