I wish it was more socially acceptable for men to be able to do things like this and not be assumed to be gay. I'm sure there would be plenty of men out there who would want to do things like this that are typically seen as being "girly" but are held back because others would think negatively of them. But to answer your question, it may not be really 'normal' to go ahead and do it but there is certainly nothing wrong with wanting to do it. I say, if you want to do it, do it!
